Personally I would get a Mantis dinghy anchor. You will not need to install the roll bar so will come in at 2 lbs and will way out perform the traditional anchors. This 2 lb anchor will hold a 16 ft boat. Stores nice, light weight and when used with the correct scope will hold your pontoon no problem. It also has a extra hole on the shaft to attach a "rescue rope" incase your anchoring where you think it might get stuck.
