That is about 14.5 Imperial mpg, so isn't even as good as I get with a longbox Ram 2500 with a 6.4 litre gas motor. It is around 2/3s the mileage the the other guys posting on here are seeing with their gas 1500 Fords, Chevs and Dodges. Sure hope it gets better for you as it breaks in.

The old 5.7s weren't known for great mileage, but even at that, I think there has to be something wrong with yours. That is 12 mpg so unless the EVIC is wrong or you are doing a lot of idling it should be at least in the 16l/100 range.
