Search the model/year of vehicle they came out of. Most have a stamped number on them and you will need a wire brush to find it if covered in scale.

Looks up a DPF price chart to give you an idea (prices change drastically and most charts are in US funds)

Look on Kijiji for "we buy DFP" adds and call ALL of them (some make different adds but same phone number). Go with the highest bidder. I don't have the info for they guy I went with but he buys from most of the buyers then ships them. so we cut out the middle man and he offered me a couple hundred more than the others.

Or just go with the first guy to make you an offer and be done with it. It was a mission for me not to get swindled on this since I have been burn from scrap guys in the past.
