Entirely depends on how it has been used and maintained.
If it's a machine that has been out mud bogging Caroline every weekend it could be trashed. Ridden and used as it was intended and maintained properly should be fine.
A neighbour of mine has a Honda Foreman that had 56,000 kms on it last I saw. And he has 4 teenage boys that have beat on it!
