The record Alaskan Hali is 480 or something silly like that. The best fish this year was around 430. That's just insane.

For me it would be Kamchatka, hands down. Only a very select few of the rivers there have ever been fished and there are lots of places where fish have never seen a fly. I will go to NZ in the next few years. Argentina would also be one hell of a place.

Without a doubt, the nicest place I've ever been to date is Fortress though. I spent a week in Katmai fishing the Alagnak and the trips and even went up to Nonvianuk Lake (where Gates just bought a $4MM cabin), and Fortress is both nicer and less travelled.
