Both the Stradic Ci4 and the Pfleuger Supreme XT are magnesium bodies. This makes them lighter reels, but they don’t handle saltwater at all. They haven’t been around as long as the traditional reel body materials so the jury is still out on their long term durability for freshwater applications.
