Tried fishing but just too cold for these old bones, so decided to experiment with wire worm ideas. These are swimming nymph hooks with the bodies made from rubber glove material. Also added a few just wire ones c/w glass beads. I'm hoping the swimming nymph style may look more natural to them.

When this cold snap ends I hope to try a few, and hopefully report on their success!!
