Reeled up a 7-8 laker.

When lakers are active - proves they will hit just about anything.

I tried using a micro flasher occasionally when jigging deep for lakers with a smaller (but heavier lure) below - sometimes it works better than anything else - often times it doesn't work at all - I guess it depends on the mood of the fish.

I think that is very true its just a matter of getting your presentation on front of the fish and if they are in the mood they will hit it!
