I wouldn't call the anti gun people a small interest group. They are much larger than the pro gun groups. MEC would rather face a boycott from the few gun people that rarely shop there than the huge group of granolas that are and have always been their target market and where they make their money. In fact their business will probably increase as more antis will look to support them because they voiced their opinion on this situation...
