Years ago my brother hooked into a beaver in the Red Deer. Never could land the bugger. I had a loon one time at a fish pond out west. I had a muskrat come to warm up in my ice hut. But my best catch was a stray cat that got into the bed of my truck one night and tried eating the left over bait on an ice fishing rod. lol..
