So Facebook continues to succumb to the pressure from various groups to prevent folks from buying or selling puppies, horses, and other animals on their service. While I understand the concerns and loath the idea of people mistreating animals it is simply not practical for services to take it upon themselves to police the sale of pets or livestock.
In fact, you could probably argue that a responsible local service could help local enforcement track down the culprits rather than pushing them to the shadows.
