Advertised as 5.8lbs naked.....add rings (4oz)and and a relatively liteweight scope (<20oz)...sling and mag full of .300WSM,mine comes in right around 7.5lbs......a few ounces less then Kurt’s Ridgeline above.^^
I could probably shave 6oz or more with different scope and rings if that was a priority for me or if I wanted to punish myself further with a 7lbs all-in magnum(I hate muzzle brakes while hunting)......but I’m not climbing any mountains any time soon.When 6-8oz becomes a deal breaker/back breaker for me I’ll retire from hunting and learn how to knit mittens.
