VX3 would be my choice in that price range. Some of the others have equal or even better glass but I have more trust in the VX3 or even VX2 to perform in tough conditions.
Conquests are heavy and bulky looking to my eye. I would go with an Elite if I wanted to save some money. I have run several right back to the B&L days and have never had an issue.
