Congrats to all the successful hunters.
Although I haven't shot anything yet, I've been seeing anywhere from 5-14 moose a day. Here are a couple of nice bulls from the weekend. I've been seeing lots of all different sizes but only one in the 50" range, that guy got lucky opening morning.

I've heard that you should never shoot an animal during the full moon phase because the meat will be tough, my Dad said they never used to butcher during the full moon. Has anyone else heard this?
