Personally I had a great results on a bid game moose and elk with them, but it was pretty close range , and so so an a deer.
Next season my boy will probably get his first moose draw and I am not sure which one to load in his 270 wsm for this hunt
160 gr Np or 140 gr Barnes TSX?

The TSX will out penetrate the 160 Partition. The 140 will have a flatter trajectory, and less recoil too.
TSX gets my nod.
