Me and buddy were around 12 and found a bunch of mallards in a pond close to the house. Snuck up and he let a rock fly. Curled around whacked one right in the head. Stone dead. We both took off running in a panic thinking we would be arrested by F&W. Could've tried that shot another 1000 times am never made it. They are a lot of fun.
