I've been doing a lot of research about floating traps and I read that it's better to use grey, aged wood rather than new wood. One article that I read suggested that if you use new wood, it's better to give it a light spray of paint to dull it up. That could possibly be why they are avoiding the traps.
I'm making 6 floaters for my 120's this morning and hopefully put them out this afternoon.
