I know of several people over the years that have been seriously injured with either arrows or pellet from rifles in town limits and that is only one reason that they are included in most city bylaws.
Another is the fact that people would start actively hunting within town limits .
I don't personally agree with those laws but they are what they are and the police have been called in the past when people complain about "people with guns" in town!!
