Do people try to drive in with trucks in the winter?
When I was there in September, we drove quite a ways past the lodge and camped on crown land, but the road in was awful - tons of water and huge ruts. We damaged all 3 trucks and both boat trailers, and we're all fairly experienced with driving off-road.
Never done it in the winter, but I feel like I'd want to have a snowmobile for sure....
