I shoot a Bear Montana Longbow (55lbs @28") in the early season. Once the cooler weather hits and I have to wear more clothes I go back to my Hoyt Maxxis 35 which is set at 66lbs for a 31" draw.

I harvest animals every year with both these setups. They fit me extremely well and I practice constantly so I'm never out of shooting shape.

My advice is try every bow you can that is in your price range. Buy the one the fits your body the best and feels the most comfortable. If you like shooting it and it feels right you will shoot it often and become proficient at it.
