The strangest thing very caught
I was out commercial fishing on the west coast of Vancouver Island in 1994 with a buddy we were off swiftsure bank at Anchor in the middle of the night and caught a SUBMARINE bet nobody can beat that one it hooked the anchor line and was dragging us in his 42 foot trooler at 21 knots per hour the boat could only run at 6.5 knots under its own power just about sank us had to run to the bow and cut the anchor line. lost about 250 feet of line and the anchor and 60 feet of chain as well as the anchor was not that funny at the time but we made the news in the Victoria Times paper. The navy told us that they had no sub's in the area and after that we heard that the soviet's were on a training excerise and may have had an incident but never came forward to take the blame!!!! BEAT THAT ONE.......
