I always point trigger away from snare. I use 100% magnums and I have zero hang ups.
Smaller springs can hang but I still ran them pointing away. Pointing toward is ZERO fun in many ways. It was a rare problem, but a very insignificant fraction of a percentage were ever affected.
Point trigger away from loop/lock.
Clip trigger in 10 o’clock position on spring-wire end side of spring loop. This is also refered to as the “dead side” of the loop end.
The loop will flex slightly and aid in positive firing.
Very simple... a child could do it!
