My heart sank a few times when my step would sink through the 2” of junk ice, lol.
Even at a couple spots where people had tents on, I caused it to crack and flex. I doubt it was thin or weak enough I’d go through, but seeing the air bubbles and it flex was enough for me to stay away from those spots.
