Just finishing my 1200 sq ft basement build, not even close to $10,000 some where in the $6000 to $8000 range so far. Sheetrock, 2x4s, insulation and carpet not very expensive at Home Depot. High end 6 panel knotty pine doors not cheap white cardboard doors and mouldings.
