I'm still pretty new to the stillwater game, so any tips would be appreciated.

I have been using a clear intermediate line with a leader length of 6-8 ft. Generally not fishing very deep, usually works best early morning and late afternoon to evening when the big tigers, browns and rainbows are cruising the shallows / shoals looking for prey. Tigers are very Piscivorous as are browns. Big rainbows can't turn down a baitfish meal neither.

Fished rolled muddlers for sea run cuthroat lots as a kid on the island suprisingly they are a killer pattern in our pothole lakes.
