Sadly, I've seen it go both ways ... the other way being; some right-wingers
'assuming' ALL new immigrants are liberal/socialists. Unfortunately, there's a good number here on the AOF that make that generalized assumption on a regular basis.
Some days, it's downright embarrassing, being a right-winger here on this forum.
