I have a Normark, it cuts the ice like butter, always starts, starts easy, and its really light. I often walk into lakes carrying it a kilometer or two (thats with a 10' blade). From what i have heard and seen so far they are very durable. If you stop by wholesale sports they should tell you when they will be going on sale, if they haven't already. Last spring i saw them going for around 650 with a 10' blade.
