Sturgeon lake is a little further then 200(just over 300) but is a nice sheltered lake if you only have a small boat. Thanks for the replies guys. 200 ish Km is a rough
starting point.. I'm not opposed to going 400 -500 km from there.

It appears that going to the northern lakes in saskatachewan is preferable...
