Want a quality left handed rifle, try Zastava if you like Mauser, regular bolt- Ruger, Browning bolt and lever (I personally don't like the 60 degree bolt lift on Browning but you can get used Brownings at really good prices), used Tikas and Sakos can often be found at really good prices, Savage in wood stocks or the upgraded synthetics but not the real cheap flimsy synthetics (not the axis version either), Remington 700 BDL/CDL ( the ones made ten years ago tend to have less issues than the new ones and I have never though the SPS were well finished or desirable), Savage 99 Lever, Winchester 88 and 1898 Lever and Weatherby used - last one I bought came with a 3x9 Leupold VX3, 100 brass, dies and 200 bullets for 1,100.

Laughing, the ideal starter lefty would be a Model 20 NULA with two stocks. All youth rifles are way too heavy.
