Look on the fiberglass rv forum lots of help on there. If the shell is not in bad shape buffing is better then sanding if you sand off the gelcoat it's a really big job to repair.
The door hinges have springs inside that get fatigued from the weight of the door you can get parts for these on the same forum. Another important thing is the steps are attached to the main frame causing cracks be sure to inspect this has caused many accident.
