This years cubs are the size of a Pomeranian. That’s definitely not this years cub. It will get run off by mom or eaten by a boar in June during the rut, so no it doesn’t need mom anymore
Beautiful color. I personally don’t see anything wrong with taking a sow (or doe or cow), as long as the population is healthy. There’s no shortage of bears.
