Ruagtika,
Ya, I was all over the Norpine kit at Home Depot last week once I found out about the sale, but ran into a hurdle getting a permit from the County of Parkland. The Caledonia model (the one displayed on their lot) came in at 708 sq. ft. total floor area, and the minimum allowable is 753. We could add a rear mudroom to make the minimum, but that would have required revised drawings and there wasn't enough time to get that done the day before the sale ended. Still an decent option, but I'm checking out other packages now that the rush is past.

The newer development bylaws are kinda frustrating when one see all the old shacks around that were built 30 years ago and "grandfathered in" as the rules changed.
