Good day on the line
Had a couple new trapping partners out yesterday on the line. The neighbour boys checked out the trapper rendezvous this year and wanted to see how it's all done. Got to see some elk and moose as well as pointing out all the lynx and marten tracks.
Oh I probably could have got more marten sets out if I was by myself and my backup sled certainly wouldn't have been tipped on it side nearly as much as it was but we all had a great time. They were up and going at 6 a.m. and lasted right until 2 in the afternoon when their feet started to get a little too cold.
Hope everybody is having a good year out there so far. I'll be finished setting everything next week, looking forward to another great season.
