I usually keep my release hand in my pocket until I need it. If its really cold I have a pouch that i wear around my waist and I put my hands in there with a pocket warmer or two. I use that set up for waterfowl and rifle season as well. When I'm stalking I've never really noticed the cold. I think the adrenaline keeps that at bay.
