When my friend in Toronto ordered a laptop from Dell last year, he used my address. Saved a good bundle on their PST, given the cost of that overpriced piece of junk (thousands of dollars for a laptop and it isn't even an Apple...)
The cost to ship it from here to his address was I think $20. Easy for these companies but not when the feds have their eyes on their precious taxes. Knowing this now, there's no way I'm taking the long drive to BC to get a boat.
Really appreciate the input here. Now I realize that an underused AB boat to be the way to go.
