ArcheryGuy, there is nothing wrong with Hornady Interlocks. Ypou don't need to shoot bullets that are $2 each to get good accuracy and performance. Hornady makes very accurate bullets and the Inerlocks hold together real well on game.

I load for a number of 300s, 74 grains of IMR 4350, under a 150 or 165 grain Hornady Interlock, and a CCI mag primer, LOA 3.360. A load within .5 grain either way has shot under an inch in 8 300 mags. (This is a close to max load, depending on which book you read, so work up to it carefully.)

If your gun won't do at least 1" with that load, I would start looking at crown, bedding, trigger etc because poor groups aren't always an issue with the load you are using. Post back and let us know how you make out.
