With us it was pup on a leash, approached by a friendly looking cat. Both leaned forward to sniff noses - all cute and friendly like, and pow - the cat lashes out across the pups face, and then calmly walks away. Dog yelped but looked OK. It wasn't until later that she wouldn't stop rubbing her eye so off to the vet. Pills, drops and $300 later and she was fine. Won't have anything to do with cats now.
