Just finished "Beyond the Trees" by Adam Shoalts....a first person account of his solo canoe/hike trip from the Yukon to Baker Lake ( 4000k) during the summer of 2017. This guy actually paddled/poled upstream on a lot of the rivers involved including the McKenzie. talk about isolation.
