I think it's pretty straight forward, if you think a subject is going to offend you, just don't go into that particular thread. Quite often I don't go into certain threads based on the title, or if I'm unsure, all I have to do is hover over the title and a small desript of the thread is shown. If I'm really uncertain, it's easy enough to read the OP then quietly leave if it isn't something I'm interested in pursuing further.
There was nothing offensive about the OP of this thread rather than some light hearted fun, no different than the many other threads bashing our political leaders of various parties.
People should be responsible for themselves.

That's a pretty common sentiment around here in political discussions, why is it so offensive when it's thrown right instead of left?
