I live in Medicine Hat, and see antelope everyday. I don't think they are near as cunning as people say. I wouldn't think a lighter bullet would do any better in the wind down here either. I use the 175gr Hornady's in my 7mm for mule deer down here with great results.
I would guess that after they've been hunted hard for a couple of days, they would get alot flightier. But, I'm sure a shot at 300 yds or closer is still within easy grasp.
