The fur market people HATE shotgun coyote skins, the Canada Goose people in particular.
They are very difficult to spot by the graders so they often end up in the good grades and big money paid but are later rejected and often sent back to the auction company.
Please either just use your rifle or try a 10/22.

I agree Marty .. Last year I had 3 coyotes that I sent in for a friend , all had been shotgunned . The little furrows where BB's had cut thru the fur were easy to see , price on these pelts was about half what others graded the same received .
