This would be a great set up and if I did it again I would of just got the 40hp. I have the 16ft ssv with the 20" trans and 30hp merc. It's been a great set up so far and gets up and going just fine with a good load up to 47kph but it always leaves me wondering how it would have been with the 40hp !
