I think your best method at this time of year is nymphing. Try using a San Juan Worm and a dropper fly such as a Prince Nymph, Gold Ribbed Hare's Ear, or Pheasant Tail Nymph. The key to this kind of fishing is mending your line properly so that your flies are bouncing along the bottom of the river.

Option B would be streamer fishing using a Wooly Bugger, Bow River Bugger, etc. A sink tip line can be helpful for this style of fishing on a larger river such as the Bow.
