Few ways to think of it. If the trout are feeding, you're going to want to use the smaller winter things (small princes, caddis, hares ears, chironomids etc) If you really cant break the code on what they're eating, and small-medium sized rubber legged stone paired with a san juan will usually do the trick.

You will need to recognize winter water, which is very different from the usual summer holding areas.

Weather is looking good for this weekend. So i'll probably make the trip.
