I have the exact same Cooey model 600 and had the same problem with mounting the scope, 20 years ago. I don't know what the scope mount is called but it does say N2 on the left side. The 4 flush (if I recall) screws will come out and will need to be replace with the 4 flat screws that go through the metal mount. This same piece will come up, and fork with two pieces, curve to the right, in a half moon. In each of these two half moon pieces, there will be 4 holes in each to allow for a companion flange to hold the scope into place. The scope I have is a 3/4" tube, but the team has shot many of 1000's of gophers. This was my 1st gun I was in grade 5 or 6 when i got it and my most sacred, as this is the one I learned to shoot with. Like I told a coworker, I could trade any of my guns off, but not this one. Does yours have a rabbit in the stock?

Do you want pictures?

Paul
