My 4th rifle was a 6mm Remington Model 700 BDL Heavy Barrel. It shot pin holes on paper better than any rifle I owned.
I took my share of Deer and Wolves with that unit till it let me down on a harvest,,, I never returned to anything less than 30 cal after that.
Two years ago I shot my first ever 1/4" groups with 3 different 30 cal Remington rifles after waiting 38 years.
Kind of like chasing the shirt-tails of that 6mm.
Oh yes, a walk down memory lane of what was once the shooter,,, now matched by 3 of today's Remmy 700's.
Good times come to those that push the limits.
