Agreed. My back up bow is a Hoyt Dorado and my range is reduced to 25 yards, where my Hoyt Spyder will get me out to 50.
Right now the bow zones are limited to archery gear that is drawn and HELD by muscle power. If the regs change the definition to include crossbows they will have to remove the "HELD" part.
