Hopefully it works out for you. At least if you dont like it, you can send it back. Ive never looked through a Nikon optic I liked, so will be interested to hear what your thoughts are on the spotter. I tried out their Monarch 7's when looking for Bino's and they had black spots, and hard to focus. Which sucked as they were on sale at a great price.
It seems to me with Nikon people either love them or hate them.
