My Inferno has brought dogs in from as far as 500 meters, given ideal conditions (very mild to no wind, flat/open fields or pastures, or large valleys).
Remote works up to ~100m, but battery strength plays a factor. Cold weather seemed to be the onlt thing that reduces the remotes effectiveness, other than line-of-site.
And as was mentioned, a coyotes "education level" always plays a role...
