I would eat it and enjoy it.

Unless the butcher you go to totally sterilizes and cleans out his entire operation between each animal, chances are you have come into contact with CWD many times over.

We always butcher our own and never make any cuts with the bone in.
Never tested a deer and I've eaten a lot from CWD zones. Still standing.
